This module focuses on the role of study aids and resources in the daily life of a pre-medical student or any other kind of student for that matter. High-yield resources typically are designed to help students in one of three ways – to create a Foundation of concepts, for Refinement of learned concepts, and most importantly to assist in the Application stage of learning. The types of resources and concepts described here can be utilized by any student who is interested in evolvinging beyond the stages of knowledge and comprehension to levels of higher-order learning. Putting these concepts into practice will make any student more efficient and more prepared for quizzes, tests, practical exams, board exams, and ultimately more prepared for life as a medical professional.
